Ciphr has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team as we grow and develop. Your role will be a hands-on development position and you will work across the entire tech stack, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications as well as refining user requirements and acceptance criteria into concise technical documentation.

Flexibility is key so this role can be based anywhere within the UK if you are happy to attend ad hoc meetings. We also have an office in Reading, Berkshire that all Ciphr employees are welcome to utilise. The role is remote within the UK but will require occasional travel for meetings and customer visits.

Maintain a high coverage of automated and manual tests.

  • Extensive experience developing applications as a full stack engineer.
  • Expert knowledge of front end development including Javascript, React, Redux and supporting technologies.
  • Knowledge of backend development in Python with Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Postgres or another modern stack.
  • Extensive understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
