Main Purpose of Job
Our crime team is expanding, and we are looking to recruit duty solicitors to work within our Liverpool, Cheshire and Birmingham offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our crime department in the provision of advice to the firm’s clients, both fee‑paying and publicly funded, and undertaking duty on the Liverpool, Birmingham and Halton/Cheshire duty rota schemes. The candidate will ideally have a client base, but this is not essential. The candidate should also aim for LAA Supervisor status, if not already in place.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to fee‑paying and publicly funded clients.
- Perform duty work on the Liverpool, Birmingham and Halton/Cheshire duty rota schemes.
- Build and maintain a client base (ideally).
- Pursue LAA Supervisor status where appropriate.
