We are recruiting a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join a large-scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation programme. This is a highly technical, automation-first role focused on testing secure, scalable identity workflows across cloud platforms, APIs, event-driven architectures, and graph data stores. This role is not manual QA and requires strong GCP domain expertise.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to and execute an automation-first testing strategy
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks (web, API, graph)
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab)
- Test IAM workflows, identity orchestration, and access models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC)
- Validate policy-as-code solutions (OPA / Rego) and policy explainability
- Perform API, batch, ETL, replay/reprocessing, and contract testing
- Validate event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, MQ) and graph data (Neo4j)
- Ensure FR/NFR traceability and generate regulatory test evidence
- Communicate progress and risks to senior stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
- Deep GCP cloud testing experience (essential)
- Senior automation testing experience with framework development
- Experience in global system testing - working in global corporate environments
- Extensive API automation and API Gateway testing
- Graph Database and event-driven validation experience
- CI/CD integration and shift-left testing practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- SailPoint IdentityIQ exposure or other IAM experience
- Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad)
- ServiceNow, AD / AD LDS experience
