We're supporting a major financial services organisation on a large-scale Identity & Access Management transformation and are looking for an experienced IAM Backend Engineer with strong HashiCorp Vault expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering team responsible for developing, improving and scaling a critical enterprise secrets management platform supporting a global business.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years' hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience (on-prem preferred)
- Strong Terraform expertise with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Ansible AAP playbook development and Jenkins pipeline management
- Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Linux server administration and backend infrastructure engineering
- Kubernetes and enterprise platform support
- Monitoring and observability tools including Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics or SCOM
- Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and delivering root cause remediation
- Agile delivery experience using Jira and GitHub
What You'll Be Doing:
- Driving improvements across a large-scale HashiCorp Vault environment
- Enhancing platform resilience, security and operational efficiency
- Delivering automation and self-service capabilities
- Supporting strategic IAM and PAM initiatives
- Acting as a technical SME for Vault and secrets management technologies
