We’re looking for a Quality Manager to take ownership of assurance across two high-profile projects within a multi-billion-pound UK energy infrastructure programme. You’ll lead quality strategy from day one, setting standards, building systems, and holding delivery teams and suppliers to account. This is a hands-on role with real influence, acting as the key interface with the client while driving measurable quality outcomes across complex works.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading all quality activities across major substation and overhead line projects
- Owning project quality plans, KPIs, and audit programmes
- Embedding robust quality control processes across design and construction
- Managing supplier audits, documentation, and compliance
- Supporting wider project governance (HSE, risk, cost, environment)
What we need:
- Proven experience in quality management on major infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of quality systems and audits
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Professional membership (or working towards) is a plus
Desirable: Experience working on Rail or National Grid related projects.
