This is a hands-on role with real influence, acting as the key interface with the client while driving measurable quality outcomes across complex works.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading all quality activities across major substation and overhead line projects
  • Owning project quality plans, KPIs, and audit programmes
  • Embedding robust quality control processes across design and construction
  • Managing supplier audits, documentation, and compliance
  • Supporting wider project governance (HSE, risk, cost, environment)

What we need:

  • Proven experience in quality management on major infrastructure projects
  • Strong working knowledge of quality systems and audits
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Professional membership (or working towards) is a plus

Desirable:

  • Experience working on National Grid projects.

If you’ve led quality on complex infrastructure and want to play a key role in the UK’s energy transition, this is worth a conversation.
