What you’ll be doing:
- Creating engaging social media content designed specifically for professionals studying towards CIPD qualifications while working in HR or people roles.
- Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to translate CIPD research, insights and guidance into accessible and engaging social content for the early career audience.
- Actively engaging with the CIPD community on LinkedIn by recognising and celebrating professional milestones.
- Identifying opportunities to amplify and share member stories through CIPD channels.
- Monitoring social media trends and audience behaviours to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Using performance insights and analytics to optimise content and improve reach with student and early career audiences.
- Contributing ideas and experimentation with new formats and channels.
- Working closely with the social media team members to support the delivery of the organisation’s social media strategy.
- Collaborating with marketing, content, membership and qualifications teams to support campaigns and initiatives aimed at student members and emerging professionals.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Experience of managing live social channels.
- Evidence of growth and or impact on those channels.
- Experience of content/social media campaign planning.
- Experience creating engaging social media content.
- Strong understanding of short-form video and platform-native content formats.
- Confidence presenting and communicating clearly on camera.
- Ability to translate complex or professional topics into clear, engaging content.
- Ability to interpret metrics and use insights to iterate quickly, not just to report.
- Algorithm awareness.
- Trend spotting and trialling/testing new ideas.
- Translating brand voice into social-first content.
- Experience creating content for career-focused or professional audiences.
