The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
To provide accurate, efficient and proactive HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees while ensuring HR data, systems and processes are kept up to date and compliant.
Working Pattern: This is a part-time position, working 4 days per week, 10:00am–3:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Joiners / Movers / Leavers: Manage all HR administration for new starters, internal moves and leavers. Prepare contracts, offer letters, contract changes and leaver documentation. Coordinate onboarding including background and right-to-work checks, inductions and system access. Ensure smooth offboarding including exit paperwork and final payroll instructions.
- Payroll Support: Prepare and submit accurate payroll inputs (starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, bonuses, statutory payments). Act as liaison between HR and Payroll, resolving payroll queries efficiently. Support monthly payroll cycles and audits. Quarterly reconciliation of HR records against Payroll records.
- HR Systems & Data: Maintain accurate employee records on the HR system (HRIS). Ensure data accuracy, GDPR compliance and confidentiality. Produce regular and ad-hoc HR reports using Excel, including headcount, length of service, turnover, and absence data. Liaise with HRIS system provider for support and maintenance queries.
- HR Administration & Support: First-line HR admin support for employees and managers, including minute taking during confidential and sensitive HR meetings. Manage HR secure shared files and email inbox. Respond to routine HR queries. First line support for routine benefit related requests. Maintain HR trackers, spreadsheets and personnel files. Support absence, holiday and probation administration. Assist with performance review cycles and training administration. Update organization chart. Act as liaison between HR and IT where appropriate.
- Compliance & Best Practice: Ensure HR processes follow employment legislation and company policy. Support HR audits and internal reporting. Keep HR documentation and records up to date.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential: Previous experience in an HR Administrator / HR Coordinator role. Hands-on experience with joiners, movers and leavers. Payroll administration experience or strong payroll exposure. Experience using HR systems and managing employee data. Strong Excel skills (reports, trackers, formulas). High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Desirable: CIPD Level 3 (or working towards). Experience producing HR metrics (length of service, turnover, headcount). Benefits administration experience. Basic knowledge of employment law.
Personal Attributes: Proactive and organised. Strong communicator with a customer-service mindset. Comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Team-oriented with a hands-on approach.
