Why This Role Is Different

Are you someone who takes real pride in getting the detail right, while genuinely caring about the people on the other end of the phone? We’re looking for an HR Adviser to join Cintra’s HR Outsourcing team, supporting client organisations through the everyday realities of managing people, from absence and performance issues to grievances and family leave. This is a role for someone who can hold two things at once: the discipline to apply employment law accurately and consistently, and the empathy to handle sensitive situations with care. You’ll be the calm, trusted voice that gives both clients and their employees confidence that things are being handled properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing HR advice to client organisations on issues across the employee lifecycle including workplace conflict, grievances, performance management, absence, and family leave.
  • Responding to client queries via phone and email using our ticketing system and working within agreed SLAs.
  • Keeping clear, accurate case notes and HR documentation for every client interaction.
  • Staying current with employment legislation so the advice you give is always compliant and reliable.
  • Building genuine, ongoing relationships with clients through regular review contact.
  • Escalating anything with dismissal implications for case discussions with Senior Advisers.
  • Getting involved in ad hoc HR projects for clients as they arise.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in progressing a career in HR, with the ability to read, interpret, and apply complex legislation to real workplace situations.
  • A naturally empathetic, patient approach; you build trust quickly and stay calm and supportive even when situations are difficult or sensitive.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical way of working; you’re comfortable with process and documentation, not just “winging it”.
  • Confidence to give clear, firm guidance when a client needs a direct answer, while always staying collaborative rather than dictatorial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain things clearly and reassuringly to non-HR audiences.
  • Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the enthusiasm to keep clients engaged, balanced with the professionalism to never let friendliness compromise compliance.

Preferred (not essential)

  • Around 5 years’ experience in an HR role.
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards it.
  • Exposure to HRIS systems.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Why Join Cintra?

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements supporting your work-life balance.
  • Employer matched pension contribution to 5%.
  • Wellbeing support through our company-funded health plan, health checks and employee assistance program.
  • Onsite parking.
  • And more!

We go the extra mile to strategically invest in our employees by providing them with invaluable learning opportunities to propel their careers forward. Our commitment to continuous employee training ensures that knowledge remains up-to-date, skills stay sharp, and confidence continues to grow. We firmly believe in empowering our workforce with the tools they need to thrive and succeed.
