Cinta Café is a neighbourhood café in London known for great coffee, fresh food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a confident Breakfast Chef with strong baking skills to join our small, friendly team. You’ll be part of a hands-on team of 6, focused on creating high-quality food and a space our regulars genuinely enjoy returning to.
Hours & Pay: 3 days per week (with potential for additional shifts). 6:30am - 1:30pm. 30-minute unpaid break per shift. £14 per hour.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast and brunch dishes during service.
- Baking and preparing pastries, cakes, and other baked items.
- Supporting with prep for lunch service.
- Creating fresh, seasonal salads and contributing ideas for lunch specials.
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and storage areas.
- Managing prep, stock rotation, and food safety standards.
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods.
- Working efficiently during fast-paced morning service.
- Helping maintain the warm, community-focused atmosphere we’re known for.
Qualifications:
- Confident breakfast chef with previous experience in a busy kitchen.
- Strong baking skills are essential.
- Experience with pastries or bakery work is a huge bonus.
- Creative with food and confident developing colourful, fresh salad and lunch ideas.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work with urgency.
- Calm under pressure and able to manage a busy breakfast service.
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
- Someone who takes pride in presentation and consistency.
Minimum experience: required. Languages: English – Advanced. Employment type: Part-time. Salary: £13.5 – £14 hourly.
