We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiology/Laboratory Technician to join our friendly team at Anderson Moores.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across clinical, kennel, and laboratory areas.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and patient areas.
- Ensure appropriate waste disposal in line with clinical guidelines.
- Safely handle and restrain patients for procedures, examinations, and treatments.
- Assist with patient movement and positioning.
- Provide basic patient care, ensuring comfort and welfare at all times.
- Support the veterinary team during procedures as required.
- Assist with sample preparation and processing.
- Accurately record all laboratory tests and ensure they are correctly placed into the system.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use.
