The finance function plays a critical role in supporting this growth and ensuring strong governance across multiple territories.
The Management Accountant will support the UK finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and timely insights across a portfolio of international entities. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, this role combines core accounting responsibilities with business partnering, process improvement, and project work. This is a handsâon role suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a multiâentity, international environment.
What youâll be responsible for:
- Preparing and posting monthly payroll journals and completing associated reconciliations
- Performing ongoing intercompany reconciliations, resolving differences, and managing intercompany balances, including loans and interest
- Leading monthly balance sheet reviews for multiple subsidiaries, investigating variances and discussing findings with senior finance stakeholders
- Preparing and analysing monthly revenue cash reports, identifying trends and explaining variances to budget
- Supporting the onboarding of newly acquired entities into the accounting system and assisting with the resolution of historic or ongoing issues
- Overseeing accounting and compliance for selected European entities, including VAT returns, statutory filings, and liaison with external advisors
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, including reviewing assumptions and contributing to the development of robust financial plans
- Reviewing existing finance processes and driving improvements, efficiencies, and automation where possible
- Working with the wider finance team to enhance the use and effectiveness of the accounting system
- Providing audit support during statutory reporting cycles
- Acting as a technical point of reference for members of the finance team
- Developing and maintaining documentation of finance processes and controls
- Supporting adâhoc projects as required by the UK Financial Controller

What weâre looking for:
- At least 2 yearsâ experience in a similar management accounting or financial reporting role
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial information clearly
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience (desirable)
- Experience with midâtoâlarge ERP systems (NetSuite exposure advantageous but not essential)
