Our client is a leading entertainment and media company working across film, television, live events, and digital media. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Associate to support the finance team in managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
(AP) Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs and ensure all payments align with company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining vendor accounts.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process employee expenses and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all supporting documentation is in place.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve invoice queries.
Reconciliations & Finance Support:
- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Support the month-end close process, preparing reports and journal entries.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting by monitoring outgoing payments.
- Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and ensure data integrity.
- Support finance team with audit preparation and financial reporting.
