A creative entertainment company is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team and help shape smart financial decisions that keep the business growing. If you love numbers and entertainment, this could be the perfect fit!
What You’ll Do:
- Analyse financial data, KPIs and industry trends to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models for various entertainment projects.
- Assess revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability across different platforms (e.g. digital, licensing, live events).
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content, Production) to optimise financial strategies and maximize ROI.
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management, helping to drive strategic decision-making.
- Monitor variances between actuals and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities for business growth.
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and revenue recognition in line with industry best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market movements, and competitor performance to maintain a competitive edge.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and qualified by ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in media, entertainment, or tech.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Understanding of revenue streams in the entertainment industry (subscription models, ad revenue, ticket sales, licensing, etc.).
- Ability to summarise complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Passion for entertainment, media, and emerging industry trends.
