We supply specialty food ingredients to manufacturers across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and the Benelux region. As exclusive distributors for several major European and American producers, we are entering an exciting phase of expansion in the UK market.

Working as part of an experienced Technical Account Management team of 4, reporting to the UK Sales Manager. This is a key position within a growing, future-oriented business. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by expanding business with existing customers
  • Provide technical product selection support across multiple applications
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for the UK market
  • Manage customers within key sectors including:
    • Dairy
    • Beverage
    • Sports Nutrition
    • Food Supplements & Nutraceuticals

Full product training will be provided as part of a comprehensive induction programme.

About You

You will ideally be a food scientist/technologist who has several years of practical and commercial experience and would like to further develop your career within a technical sales role across a fast moving and growing sector.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • 2+ years’ commercial B2B experience in food ingredients
  • 3+ years’ practical experience in product development or applications within the food, beverage, or ingredients industry
  • Proven ability to manage customers, develop new business, and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong understanding of technical applications of food ingredients
  • Ability to confidently engage with customers’ development teams
  • Experience documenting activities in CRM systems
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify market opportunities
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas

Highly Advantageous:

  • Experience in Dairy, Beverage, or Sports Nutrition sectors
  • Experience with specialised functional food ingredients
  • Food Science / Food Technology qualification or equivalent experience
