We have an exciting role for a Care & Quality Manager to join the Quality Team at Cinnamon Care. We are proud to have been ranked #1 for Provider Quality, with every one of our CQC-inspected homes rated either Good or Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, a recognition highlighted by the respected market intelligence group LaingBuisson.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate recent regulatory and CQC experience with a solid background of compliance. This role will involve travel and some overnight stays to all our homes which span from the South to the West Midlands.
Reporting to the Head of Care & Quality you will provide support and advice to all team members in the Cinnamon group to achieve continued quality improvement in care and services to our residents. You will support the General Managers and the Head of Department teams in all matters relating to regulatory compliance. Building solid relationships and imparting knowledge with our teams enabling them to undertake their roles is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Support all homes within Cinnamon to achieve a GOOD or OUTSTANDING rating with CQC.
- Work with the Home teams to ensure regulation and legislation compliance.
- Assist the Head of Care & Quality in undertaking regulatory audits in line with CQC regulatory framework and support the home in delivering in a timely manner any Service Development Plan as a result of the audit.
- Attend safeguarding meetings and support the managers in developing actions for change as a result of these.
- Undertake any investigations as instructed by the Care Quality Managers. Produce reports with identified learning outcomes when required.
- Assist the Head of Care & Quality with supporting the General Managers on all safeguarding/coroners requests and complaints on any quality issues which could affect the business.
- Support the GMs in delivering quality improvement strategies to ensure the safety and protection of residents.
- Conduct quality improvement projects under the direction of the Head of Care & Quality.
