Wellbeing & Lifestyle Assistant
Full time, Worthing, UK – £12.39 per hour plus company benefits. Includes weekend working.
Merriman Grange is a luxurious residential and dementia care home based in Worthing offering state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including 72 large ensuite bedrooms, 5 luxury care suites, lounges, dining rooms, an on‑site café bar, a cinema, and a professional hair and beauty salon.
Working closely with the Wellbeing & Lifestyle Lead, the role is hands‑on, responsible for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the home, including internal and external communication about activities‑focused programmes for residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organise and conduct activities that encourage both social, mental and, where appropriate, physical stimulation for residents in the home.
- Help organise fundraising events.
- Help organise special events such as Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal Occasion, etc.
- Help produce a monthly programme of events to be discussed with the General Manager of the home.
- Encourage residents and team members to participate in the home’s activities programme.
- Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.
Person Specification:

- IT literacy – competent with the use of systems.
