Eden Court is a deluxe Retirement Village located in Battersea SW11, boasting 28 luxury independent apartments and a 71-bed nursing, residential, and dementia care home.
We have an opportunity for a Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team on an \’as and when\’ basis to cover annual leave and adhoc sickness. Rotas are planned in advance, so you will be notified of the days/weeks to be covered.
The Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator role is a hands-on position responsible for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer program within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activity-focused programs for our residents.
The role involves introducing appropriate activities for older people to support independence and identifying local activities to help residents integrate into the community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organise and conduct activities that encourage social, mental, and physical stimulation for residents.
- Help organise fundraising events.
- Help organise special events such as Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal occasions, etc.
- Assist in producing a monthly program of events in discussion with the General Manager.
- Encourage residents and team members to participate in the activities program.
- Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.
