This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced and passionate Hospitality Services Manager. The role will be to ensure that high standards and high customer satisfaction are delivered at all times. The Hospitality Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that all front of house operations run smoothly within the home and that the residents are comfortable and happy. This includes keeping all areas of the home clean, ensuring the food is delicious and enjoyable, and that team members are accommodating and helpful at all times.
The Hospitality Services Manager needs strong communication skills when dealing with team members, residents, and family members. A background in hotel, restaurant, or catering sector is required, along with knowledge of budget control, purchasing, auditing of environment, food preparation, and presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control and manage the home's budgets, ensuring the departments use nominated suppliers.
- Recruit, train and manage all team members in conjunction with the General Manager, ensuring that performance standards are understood and maintained.
- Ensure that the catering service is of the highest standards in terms of presentation and menu content, working closely with the Head Chef to achieve a quality service that is value for money.
- Monitor and support the dining areas at meal times ensuring that the highest standards are met.
- Attend evening and weekend functions as they arise to facilitate a quality service to residents and guests.
- Ensure that the whole team is appropriately trained and customer service standards are met at all times.
