Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Kenley, UK
Hours: Part time hours – 21 hours per week
Salary: £12.43 per hour plus company benefits
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the home, furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a welcoming, tidy and hygienic environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Adhere to relevant policies and procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
- Compassionate and caring nature.
- Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.
