Cineworld Telford is a vibrant 11-screen cinema located at Southwater Square. It is a complex cinema featuring both IMAX and 4DX screens, along with a Starbucks store. The management team includes a General Manager, two Cinema Managers, one Starbucks Store Manager, three Team Leaders, and two Starbucks Supervisors. You will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 30 team members.
This role is well-suited for experienced Team Leaders or candidates looking to take their first step into management, especially those with strong leadership skills, full availability (7 days a week), a full UK driving license, and a desire to develop their career with Cineworld.
The Team Leader role involves representing Cineworld and delivering an exceptional cinema experience. You will provide leadership and support to your team, ensure high standards of service, and maintain a safe and clean environment for customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Food handling and stock control
- Use of technology (IT systems, till operations, telephones)
- Cleaning
- Increasing sales
- Maintaining standards
- Dealing with customers face-to-face, including large groups
- Addressing and resolving complaints
- Induction and training of team members
- Coaching team members
- Monitoring compliance and standards
