Team Leader – Cineworld Ipswich – 39 Hour Full Time Contract – Secondment for maximum 2 months

Cineworld Ipswich is a refurbished complexity 2 site, with 12 screens which includes IMAX and 4DX and a seating capacity greater than 2500 seats, including a Starbucks Store. The cinema has a diverse customer base and plays to a mixture of blockbuster, mainstream and theatre house audiences.

The cinema is located on the Cardinal Park Leisure park in the centre of Ipswich and the site is surrounded by a variety restaurants including Subway and Nando\’s etc. The cinema is also located conveniently close to the high street and varied shopping centres.

The full Management team consists of a General Manager, a Deputy General Manager, 2 Cinema Managers, and a team of 5 Team Leaders, as well as a Starbucks Store that has a Starbucks Store Manager and 3 Duty Supervisors.

The ideal candidate will thrive on new challenges and will be able to integrate into the dynamic team, in order to achieve targets and exceed expectations. The site has consistently achieved high levels of performance, and is looking for a highly motivated team player.

You and your team will be out there as the face of Cineworld, striving to deliver an unrivalled cinema experience for all Cineworld customers. In addition to providing leadership and support to the Teammembers you will be providing a superior standard of service to our customers and making sure everyone has a great time in a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cash Handling (Including Reconciliation)
  • Food Handling and Stock Control
  • Use of Technology (e.g IT Systems,Till Operations, Telephones)
  • Cleaning
  • Increasing Sales
  • Maintaining Standards
  • Dealing Face to Face with Large Groups of People
  • Addressing and Resolving Complaints
  • Induction and Training of TeamMembers
  • Coaching TeamMembers
  • Monitoring Compliance and Maintaining Standards
