The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
To be responsible for assisting cinema management in maintaining and enhancing the overall presentation of the cinema, by undertaking routine maintenance tasks and liaising with external parties in conjunction with the management team as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Relamping around the Cinema as directed
- Liaising with and reporting jobs to management team
- Routine repairs to stair nosing and Tivoli lighting
- Local making good and redecorating as directed by management
- To carry out graffiti checks within the demise of the cinemas responsibility, removing any low level graffiti as directed
- To regularly check state of fixed seating in auditoria and undertake reporting or repairing as necessary.
- Reporting maintenance tasks and emergency situations to the management team, such as; gas leaks, power failures, water leaks etc
- Making areas where work is being carried out safe for customers and employees in accordance with the Health & Safety policy.
- Conducting site walk-rounds to identify faults and hazards and reporting to the management team
- Maintain presentation of toilets, which includes routine plumbing works, fixing broken toilet seats, replacing fixtures and fittings including duct panelling as required.
- To ensure the main refuse area is clear
- To carry out any routine maintenance tasks recorded on the Maintenance /defect log contained in the Health and Safety registers
- Working with the management team and attending Health & Safety meetings to ensure the site is Health and Safety compliant and all checks carried out are documented
- Keeping work areas tidy & organized, tools & maintenance resources logged and locked away and maintained in accordance with Health & Safety policy
- Ad hoc duties as directed by management team, within the scope of maintenance tasks within the demise of the cinemas responsibility
ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have basic experience of hand and power tool use, and would ideally be qualified in Health and Safety Level 2. An understanding of Health and Safety policy, risk management and working at heights is desirable. Facilities management or trades person experience is desirable.
