If so, you could be a great fit for the new role of Lead Technical Manager at our Picturehouse Central cinema, supporting the General Manager to strategise and deliver the technical operations.
You will drive your small technical team to deliver unbeatable projection solutions for our multitude of mediums such as traditional screenings, in-house events, and film festivals.

What will you be doing?
You will be managing a small team of 4 technical team members, driving best practices & processes to empower them to consistently deliver high standards of technical cinema production; whether that is for a film festival, small industry event, or traditional cinema. You will work closely with the venues General Manager to plan and strategise technical operations in line with the cinema and events schedules. Collaboration with the events team will also be required. You will maintain a relationship with the NOC & field engineering teams in the case that you need their onsite support to solve any urgent technical issues. You will also need to carry out general maintenance and upkeep of cinema equipment, areas of operation, and ensure a safe working environment.
About you
You must have demonstrable experience in technical cinema roles delivering 35mm & 70mm film. This would preferably be as a Projectionist or similar position within Digital Cinema operations which has rapid turnover of content across a variety of mediums such as events, festivals, and traditional cinema. You need to have strong demonstrable experience of managing teams, someone that can galvanise a team and get them all working to a common goal. Having experience building and implementing best practices or processes is highly desirable. You are someone that can work at speed and consistently deliver the highest quality of cinema production.
