What you’ll be working on

The Parts Lead will be directly responsible for all activities within the Parts Department onsite. Including but not confined to stock maintenance, over-seeing stock checks, ordering, issuing, receipt and return of parts. Supervision of the parts team, ISO (parts associated elements), maintain daily liaison with staff and suppliers for all aspects of ordering, receipt and issuing of parts in order for the facility to achieve its planned production.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the cinch values and behaviours are upheld
    • Responsible for Stock maintenance (checking stock levels, including parts stock checks, review of obsolete stock)
    • Consumables ordering and management
    • Liaise with relevant centre staff to ensure smooth operation of the branch, body shop and workshop.
    • Promote and lead the health, safety and welfare of all personnel within the parts department
    • Be responsible for the quality, technical production, storage & handling of customers’ parts in accordance with agreed processes and protocols, while ensuring that the company’s parts management processes and protocols are adhered to at all times
    • Advise appropriate centre management of any issues as they arise
    • Minimise cost across the operation by efficient and effective work practises
    • Ensure that liaison is maintained with management to ensure sufficient parts are available to achieve the production plans
    • Assist in managing the company’s parts suppliers as appropriate
    • Create, initiate and monitor parts procedures so customer expectations can not only be met but also exceeded
    • Be active in the development and integration of ISO and SOP’s across your area of responsibility
    • Responsible for all health and safety aspects of own area of responsibility and attend the Centre monthly H&S meeting
