Our Team
Cimpress is creating a new business called Cimpress Open whose mandate is to excel at serving customers via third-party channels. We will partner with companies that have strong customer relationships with end-customers who need mass-customized print products. In its initial stage, Cimpress Open will pursue opportunities with digital design software partners and established ecommerce marketplace platforms. This approach will evolve and expand over time as we establish a presence in these new segments.
What You Will Do
- Advertising Strategy & Execution (Core Focus)
- Own Amazon Advertising strategy and execution across EU and US marketplaces.
- Personally plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns in Amazon Seller Central:
- Sponsored Products
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Display
- Manage a broad FBM portfolio, including complex catalog structures and multiple markets.
- Actively manage budgets, bids, targeting, search terms, and campaign structure on a daily / weekly basis.
- Define and evolve full-funnel advertising strategies (awareness → conversion → efficiency).
- Continuously analyze performance across keywords, ASINs, placements, creatives, and markets.
- Design and run structured tests (bidding, targeting, creative, portfolio structure).
- Identify scalable growth levers while maintaining profitability and ROI.
- Stay deeply involved in execution — this role does not outsource campaign ownership to agencies.
- Build advertising reporting from scratch using Excel / Google Sheets and platform data.
- Define and track core KPIs (ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, CVR, CPC, incremental lift, etc.).
- Translate complex advertising data into clear narratives and recommendations for non-advertising audiences.
- Prepare regular performance reviews for senior stakeholders, clearly linking Ads performance to business outcomes.
- Work with Channel teams to align advertising priorities with broader marketplace strategy.
- Collaborate with Creative teams on ad messaging, assets, and testing roadmaps.
- This role is designed to start as a highly hands-on individual contributor position, with clear ownership of Advertising performance.
- There is a clear opportunity for this role to evolve into a people management position, including:
- Helping define the future structure of the Advertising team
- Hiring, mentoring, and developing additional Advertising specialists
- Setting standards and best practices for Advertising across markets
Your Qualifications
- 3+ years of current, hands-on Amazon Advertising experience
- Proven track record of personally managing and optimizing Amazon Ads, not only via agencies
- Direct experience managing FBM portfolios at scale across multiple marketplaces
- Deep expertise in Amazon Seller Central advertising tools and mechanics
- Very strong analytical skills, including building reporting and analysis from scratch
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
- Ability to diagnose performance issues using data
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain advertising strategy and results to non-advertisers
- High ownership mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement
Nice To Have
- Experience with Amazon DSP, Google Ads, or Meta
- Experience operating across both EU and US marketplaces
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Additional European language skills (German, French, Italian)
