F & B Manager

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK\’s leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board. F & B Manager Role: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week – 5 days out of 7 Salary: £33,280 + benefits. Our Food & Beverage Manager is a key person within the CIM Business Centre operation. You\’ll have responsibility to ensure all guests and clients have a personalised and exceptional F & B service from the moment they arrive through to their departure. You\’ll manage, train and develop our F & B team and work within budgeted and health and safety guidelines. In a typical day, you\’ll: Manage the day to day restaurant and bar staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members by holding regular 1:1 check-in\’s with your team Assist the operations manager in driving growth in F & B income and preparation and delivery of the F & B budget Coordinate with the events and catering team to align service times and menus with conference schedules Work closely with the chef and kitchen team to provide an inspiring food service for business and leisure guest events Ensure all team members have active learning & development plans and that mandatory training requirements are up to date Carry out duty management shifts in accordance with the rota For this role, you\’ll need: Excellent people and communication skills A strong leader with proven skills of handling challenging situations and a problem solver Financially astute, able to contribute to budget planning and reporting and budget management Minimum of two years within a similar role, preferably in a hotel or meeting event / conference centre environment Good working knowledge of restaurant department Proactive \”can do\” approach and curious by nature Flexible with working hours We offer a wide range of attractive benefits, including: 25 days annual leave Pension contribution scheme Training and development opportunities Life assurance scheme Dedicated wellness initiative and wellness hub that supports your wellbeing (including EAP) Subscription to Perkbox – our online benefits platform including retailer, entertainment and dining our discounts CIM Business Centre is a professional and productive work environment where individuals and teams come together to further progress their careers through training, meetings and team building.
