Ciklum is looking for a Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer to join our team full-time in the UK. We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive end-to-end automation and AI transformation initiatives—translating business objectives into actionable product roadmaps and technical requirements.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, facilitating workshops, interviews, and design sessions to uncover pain points, assess opportunities, and define automation and AI-enabled use cases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and deliver AI and automation solutions aligned to business value and strategic outcomes.
  • Design, evaluate, and validate business cases for automation and AI initiatives, clearly articulating ROI, efficiency gains, and strategic benefits.
  • Champion innovation, helping clients understand and leverage emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Process Mining, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), RPA, Low Code/Workflow platforms, and Conversational AI.
  • Ensure governance and ethics are embedded in all AI solutions, addressing topics such as data quality, bias, model interpretability, and responsible AI deployment.
  • Monitor adoption and success metrics, using feedback and performance data to iterate and continuously improve delivered solutions.
  • Educate and influence client teams through thought leadership, training, and demonstrations on the business value and risks of AI-driven automation.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching market trends, technologies, and frameworks to continuously evolve the firm’s automation and AI offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (STEM, business, or related discipline).
  • Proven experience leading automation or AI initiatives, ideally in a consulting, product management, or digital transformation capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Intelligent Automation technologies (RPA, Process Mining, IDP, Workflow, Conversational AI) and advanced AI models (including Generative AI).
  • Hands-on experience working with technology teams to define product backlogs, write user stories, and manage delivery in agile or hybrid environments.
  • Able to evaluate complex problems, define KPIs, and translate insights into clear technical and business requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior executives and technical teams alike to influence outcomes and drive alignment.
  • Awareness of ethical and regulatory implications of AI adoption, including bias, transparency, and responsible use.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Consulting mindset professional, adaptable, and comfortable working across industries and fast-paced client environments.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
