Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, specialising in the design and production of bespoke filtration and separation systems for industries such as pharmaceutical, food & beverage, water treatment, nuclear, oil & gas, and aerospace. Known for their precision and innovation, they deliver engineered solutions that meet demanding operational and regulatory standards.
They are now looking for a Welding Machine Operator to join their growing team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and contributing to the manufacture of high-quality engineering products.
What's the Difference?
This is not a manual welder role, as a Welding Machine Operator you'll be required to set up, operate, and monitor automated welding machines. The role also includes polishing welded components and light mechanical assembly work, making it ideal for someone practical, detail-focused, and keen to develop in engineering manufacturing.

What You'll Do
- Machine Operation - Safely and efficiently operate automated welding machines as a Welding Machine Operator.
- Polishing & Assembly - Perform mechanical polishing of welded components and assist with light mechanical assembly/fitting.
- Workshop Support - Provide support to the workshop and welding supervisors as needed.
- Health & Safety - Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in welding essential.
- Machine operation, or engineering experience preferred.
- Background in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
Hours - 38.5 Mon - Thurs 8 - 4.30, Fri 8 - 3.
Pay £15 - £17.50ph
