Our client requires two experienced Temporary Panel Wirers to provide immediate support within its Wakefield manufacturing operation.
This is a short-term requirement, initially expected to last approximately four weeks. The successful Temporary Panel Wirers must already have relevant experience and be able to join the team and become productive quickly, without requiring extensive training or supervision.
There may be the possibility of the assignment continuing beyond the initial four weeks, although an extension cannot currently be guaranteed.
Main responsibilities of the Panel Wirer Assembling electrical control panels Wiring control panels to the required specification Working accurately from electrical drawings and schematics Fitting and connecting electrical components Cutting, routing, terminating and labelling cables and wiring Checking completed work for accuracy and quality Following established manufacturing procedures and safety requirements Working efficiently to support current production requirements Skills and experience required for he Panel Wirer role Previous professional experience in panel wiring or control-panel manufacturing Experience assembling and wiring electrical control panels Ability to read and work accurately from electrical drawings and schematics Confidence using appropriate wiring, crimping and hand tools Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Availability to start immediately Ability to commit to the full four-week assignment Suitable backgrounds Candidates may currently or previously have worked as a: Panel Wirer Control Panel Wirer Electrical Fitter Electrical Assembly Technician Control Panel Technician Switchgear Wirer This opportunity is best suited to an experienced individual who can quickly understand the work required and contribute to production from the outset.
