Our client is a Bradford-based engineering concern, manufacturing heating and cooling equipment for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) markets. Founded 125 years ago, they are well-known and well-respected in the industry. They are an autonomous part of a global engineering group listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are now looking to recruit a Sales Estimator to join their team.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving enquiries via telephone and email
- Evaluating specification documents and GA drawings identifying product requirements
- Preparing quotations for standalone equipment and prefabricated skid packages
- Sending quotations to customers
- Compiling technical submittals
- Managing multiple projects at one time
- Communication with customers regarding projects
- Discussing projects with external sales
- Processing orders
- Working with line manager and other departments to comply and improve company processes
- Providing ad-hoc support as needed to other departments
Skills and Experience:
- Preferred Experience - HVAC ā Commercial / Industrial HVAC or Process industry experience
- Customer Service/Estimating/Sales
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines
- Proven work experience in a similar role
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Driving License
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary c£28K - £30K DOE
- Full Time/Permanent position
- Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Flexi-time / WFH
