The Opportunity
We are supporting a growing UK-based manufacturer that designs and builds its own engineered products. Due to sustained growth and increasing demand, they are looking to add additional shop floor assembly capability, with the potential to appoint one or two Assemblers depending on experience.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high-quality assembly work and wants to be part of a growing business that is investing in its facilities, products and people.

The Role
The Electromechanical Assembler will be involved in the assembly of a variety of electrical and electromechanical products, working to detailed works instructions and engineering drawings. This requires care, diligence and engineering awareness to ensure products are built to the highest standards, reflecting the Company\’s commitment to quality, safety and consistency.

Duties will include:

  • Working to engineering drawings, works instructions and technical documentation
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping on the shop floor

Depending on experience:

  • Carrying out electrical wiring and assembly

  • Use of CNC machining equipment to carry out assembly tasks as required
  • Dimensional and quality inspection of component products using a variety of tools

About You
This role would suit someone with a solid engineering or assembly background who understands production processes and engineering principles, and who has an appreciation of quality workmanship.
Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly
  • The ability to follow works instructions accurately and consistently
  • An understanding of quality control, inspection or acceptance testing
  • Confidence using basic measuring equipment and checking components to drawings
  • A practical, hands-on mindset with good attention to detail

Experience in machining, CNC, engineering production or manufacturing environments would be particularly beneficial, as would any exposure to QA processes, batch testing or fault finding.

What\’s On Offer

  • Salary between Β£28,000 and Β£34,000 depending on experience and capability
  • Stable, long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing business
  • Varied role with training across multiple products and processes
  • Investment in facilities and a refreshed working environment
  • Supportive team culture with a practical, down-to-earth approach
  • Life Assurance and Pension
  • Parking on site
  • Generous holiday allowance

If you\’re an experienced assembler or engineer who enjoys hands-on work, variety and being part of a growing manufacturing operation, this is a strong opportunity to consider.
