Are you passionate about supporting people to achieve positive outcomes? We are looking for an Alcohol Recovery Coordinator to join our Nottinghamshire service (based in our Worksop & Newark team).
Location: Worksop
Hours: Full time, 37.5 Hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/2027
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be focused on helping people to achieve positive outcomes by coordinating their personalised recovery journey, through thorough assessment and support planning.
- You will oversee their participation in group programmes, treatment options and one to one sessions, whilst continually managing risk and minimising alcohol and drug related harm.
- You will be open, compassionate and driven to provide the very best care and support for everyone.
- You will need to be self‑motivated with excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with multiple teams internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Experience in managing caseloads
- Good working knowledge of alcohol‑related harm and risks
- A commitment to multi‑agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency
- The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports
- Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative, prioritising accordingly
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services and good practice
- A sound knowledge and commitment to Safeguarding practice
- An understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field
Salary: CGL points 23 to 28 (£27,861.26 – £32,002.35)
