About the Role
We are looking for an organised and customer‑focused Housing Administrator to support our tenancy and leasehold services. In this role you will provide high‑quality administrative support, maintain accurate records and act as a key point of contact for customers and colleagues. Your work will be vital to ensuring housing services run smoothly and that customers receive timely and effective assistance.
What you’ll do:
- Provide effective administrative support to the tenancy and leasehold team
- Maintain accurate records and update housing systems, including OpenHousing
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving issues where possible
- Support rent account enquiries, including rent statements, payment advice and Housing Benefit information
- Arrange meetings, appointments and travel, supporting meetings through minute‑taking and coordination
- Assist with lettings, re‑lets, customer involvement events and service improvements
- Support responses to complaints, anti‑social behaviour cases and neighbour disputes in line with procedure
- Process invoices, purchase orders and other financial administration as required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within housing or a customer‑focused environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence using IT systems and databases, including Microsoft Office and housing systems
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- A well‑organised approach with good attention to detail
- Demonstrated partnership, respect, inclusion, drive and efficiency, working collaboratively and communicating clearly
