We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking a proactive Housing Advisor to deliver an exceptional housing management service.

You'll take ownership of a diverse caseload, providing expert housing management advice and ensuring tenancy matters are managed efficiently, professionally and in line with current legislation.

Working closely with residents, committees and internal teams, you'll help resolve issues, support vulnerable tenants and contribute to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a proactive housing management service across a portfolio of housing
  • Manage tenancy matters including arrears, tenancy breaches, notices and legal proceedings where appropriate.
  • Handle complex cases including anti-social behaviour, complaints and neighbour disputes.
  • Oversee the voids and allocations process from start to finish.
  • Carry out tenancy visits and regular site inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with repairs and maintenance teams to support residents.
  • Liaise with external agencies and support vulnerable tenants where safeguarding concerns arise.
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies and tenancy agreements.
  • Prepare reports
  • To be considered suitable you will need to have the following skills and experience;
  • Previous experience within housing management or tenancy management.
  • A good understanding of housing legislation and tenancy law.
  • Experience managing rent arrears, ASB and tenancy enforcement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to local sites as required
