About the role

We're now looking for a Supported Housing Regulatory Compliance Lead Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our approach to supported housing across the region. This senior technical leadership role within our Revenues & Benefits service will lead the Council's Supported Housing Regulatory Compliance Programme, interpreting complex regulatory frameworks and turning them into clear, effective practices that ensure supported housing providers meet the highest standards.

What will you be doing?

You'll lead the Council's approach to supported housing compliance, using your expertise to turn complex regulations into clear, practical solutions. From implementing new regulatory frameworks to reviewing rent models and provider performance, you'll ensure standards are met and financial risk is minimised. Working closely with internal teams and external providers, you'll build strong partnerships, influence decision‑making and help drive high‑quality, compliant services across West Northants.

About you

You're an experienced Revenues & Benefits professional with strong knowledge of Housing Benefit and supported housing regulations. You're analytical, confident working with complex data, comfortable making high‑level decisions, and a strong communicator capable of influencing and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. Most importantly, you are proactive, solutions‑focused and motivated to make a real difference, bringing our THRIVE values to life in everything you do.
