We are seeking a motivated Independent Living Team Leader to join our team, bringing both leadership skills and housing management expertise. As the Independent Living Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of sheltered housing schemes and 55+ flats and bungalows throughout Stockport, ensuring high-quality service delivery and fostering a supportive living environment for residents. You will lead a team, providing guidance, support, and direction, while ensuring compliance with housing management policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive and empathetic individual who can balance resident wellbeing with operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of sheltered housing schemes and 55+ flats and bungalows in Stockport to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and direction while ensuring compliance with housing management policies and procedures.
  • Balance resident wellbeing with operational efficiency and proactive service delivery.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and housing management expertise relevant to Independent Living services.
  • Proactive, empathetic approach to resident wellbeing and service delivery.
  • Ability to balance resident wellbeing with operational efficiency and policy compliance.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance required.
  • Willingness to engage with applicants and discuss the role informally when appropriate.
