The Resident Services Team are responsible for assisting tenants to sustain their tenancies and encourage and facilitate their independence, quality of life, safeguarding and health and well-being on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive ASB Housing Officer to join our team. As an ASB Housing Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents by managing and resolving ASB cases. Your expertise in conflict resolution and community engagement will be instrumental in fostering a peaceful living environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and manage ASB complaints in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with residents, local authorities, and external agencies to resolve ASB issues.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections to identify and address potential ASB hotspots.
  • Maintain accurate records of ASB cases and actions taken.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents affected by ASB.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in ASB or housing management is essential.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in ASB management.
  • Knowledge of the Policing and Crime Act 2017.
  • Knowledge of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
  • Proficiency in using housing management software Open Housing and Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience of working in social housing or equivalent transferable skills.
  • A keen interest in and knowledge of the social housing sector.
  • A high performer, with a proven track record of success & ASB experience or knowledge.
  • Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management.
  • Must have a full UK driving license and a vehicle to use for work.
  • A degree or housing qualification, such as CIH, is preferable, but not essential.

Driving Vehicle Requirement:

Full UK driving licence and a vehicle for work are mandatory.
