Parashoot Housing Officer

What you'll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to provide customer‑focused, individualised, outcome‑focused support to enable customers to secure, maintain, or set up a new tenancy and avoid homelessness.

  • Enable customers to live independently by assessing new referrals, identifying support needs, and co‑creating personalised support plans that promote dignity, choice, and confidentiality.
  • Increase tenancy sustainment and prevent eviction by helping customers develop practical skills to manage their home, such as understanding tenancy responsibilities and day‑to‑day household tasks.
  • Improve access to external services by identifying specialist needs and connecting customers with the appropriate support providers in a timely and coordinated way.
  • Promote customer safety by identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns promptly and following Raven's safeguarding procedures to ensure appropriate action.
  • Ensure accountability and consistency by maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date, and well‑organised support records, including completed and reviewed support plans.

What you'll bring to Raven:

  • Knowledge of assessment and support planning systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of the housing support needs of vulnerable people.
  • Knowledge of benefits systems
  • Admin and record keeping skills
  • Full clean driving licence.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.
