About the role

We are looking for an experienced housing professional to join our busy team at Cottsway delivering a comprehensive housing management service to our customers. You will report directly to the Tenancy and Neighbourhood Housing Manager and will be part of an established dedicated team of Neighbourhood Housing Officers.

You will work in a mobile way, combining both home and office-based working alongside meeting customers in person to provide a tenancy and neighbourhood management service. You will ensure an excellent standard of service delivery and customer focus to a defined patch of mixed tenure properties. These will include rented general needs, independent living, shared ownership, and leasehold properties.

You will be responsible for estate management including monitoring grounds maintenance and communal cleaning services, voids, new tenancy creations, (sign-ups), changes of tenancy, tenancy support and management, nuisance, and anti-social behaviour cases. Resident involvement, along with the handling of service charge queries from customers.
What we are looking for:
• To be successful you will have specialist knowledge and recent experience in housing and neighbourhood management, along with current knowledge of housing law relating to tenancy agreements and tenancy management.
• Excellent customer service delivery and ability to communicate with a range of customers is essential, bringing diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to handling challenging situations.
• Resilience and able to manage conflicting priorities and a busy workload to a high standard.
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience of using IT systems to record and analyse data.
• A full driving licence with use of a vehicle is essential.

A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.
