Fixed Term Contract / Full Time

This role is a generic role and requires:

  • Onsite inspections
  • Fire risk assessments
  • Contract monitoring
  • Face to face vulnerable surveys
  • Dealing with hoarding cases
  • Responding to customer queries
  • Dealing with complaints and members enquiries
  • Carrying out tenancy management matters
  • Tenancy audits
  • Estate walkabouts
  • Estate surgeries
  • Attendance at evening tenant and resident meetings with stakeholders

To be considered for interview, your supporting statement will clearly evidence:

  • Contributing to the development of sustainable communities and delivering an integrated generic housing service to tenants and leasehold customers
  • Working closely with other teams and key stakeholders to achieve sustainable tenancies
  • Providing a proactive and customer focused housing management service across a designated area
  • Ensuring that the Council fulfils its legal and contractual obligations to tenants and leaseholders
  • Taking the appropriate action to ensure our estates are safe and well maintained
  • Making sure all remedial work and post inspections are carried out
  • Acting as a regular and visible presence on estates
  • Providing advice, information and reports on any housing management matter
  • Supporting the Neighbourhood Housing Team deliver the Vulnerable Residents Offer
