Neighbourhood Response Officer – customer focused role based in Maidstone covering the Kent region. You will collaborate with residents and external agencies to keep estates clean and safe, support vulnerable customers and address anti‑social behaviour.
Location: Maidstone – County Gate – hybrid. Base at the office; you will attend the office at least one day per month and be expected to travel across Kent and occasionally the South region. Access to your own vehicle is essential.
Hours & Contract: 18 hours per week – Monday & Tuesday all day, Wednesday 9‑1 pm. Permanent.
Compensation: £37,607 – £43,780 per annum pro rata (£18,803 pro rata’d).
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with residents and external agencies to keep estates clean and safe.
- Identify, plan and deliver estate improvements.
- Support vulnerable customers and address anti‑social behaviour.
- Attend shadow visits, training and office meetings as required.
- Travel across Kent and occasionally the South region as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Able to travel across Kent region; own vehicle essential.
- Eligible to work in the UK; reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
- Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance required.
- Experience or interest in community safety and local service is desirable.
