Income Recovery Officer

We are looking to recruit within our Financial Assessment and Income Unit. The position of Income Recovery Officer is based in Maidstone, and we employ hybrid working – working from home and the office as business needs dictate. Office attendance is required at least once a month after an initial 4‑ to 6‑week in‑person training period.

Responsibilities

  • Improve income collection and reduce debt owed to the authority through technical knowledge and a proactive approach.
  • Demonstrate compassion and knowledge when working with debtors to ensure recovery is efficient, informative and successful.
  • Support the expansion and adaptation of the Financial Assessment and Income Unit to enhance income recovery following non‑payment of an invoice.
