What you will do:

  • Deliver safe and timely occupational therapy services, focusing on the needs of clients within Independent Living.
  • Conduct triage and assessments for major adaptations through the Disabled Facilities Grant, tailoring solutions to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with external District and Borough Councils, facilitating necessary home adaptations and equipment installations.
  • Provide mutual aid to other Occupational Therapy areas across the directorate as needed.
  • Ensure thorough assessments and reviews, maintaining the high standards of the Independent Living Suffolk's welfare services.

Person specification:

  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, particularly in adaptations and working with Disabled Facilities Grants.
