About the role
Within the Housing & Neighbourhoods department, you will support the reform of the council, improve housing standards and ensure residents have access to safe, secure and high-quality homes. This role is part of a dynamic team aiming to provide proactive, tenant-focused and intelligence-driven services for over 30,000 private rented homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and quality assurance for the team.
- Lead complex casework and enforcement activities, supporting the implementation of a new service structure.
- Contribute to policy, systems and service improvements.
Qualifications
Experienced in private rented sector regulation, with strong technical knowledge and a proactive, collaborative approach. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and work within a high-performing team is essential.
