About the Team

The Responsive Repairs Team plays a vital role in ensuring Lambeth's housing stock is safe, well-maintained, and responsive to residents' needs. We deliver a high-quality repairs service across thousands of homes, working closely with contractors, surveyors, and neighbourhood housing colleagues to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. Our team is committed to continuous improvement, resident satisfaction, and collaborative working, supporting Lambeth's ambition to provide excellent housing services that reflect our values of Equity, Ambition, Kindness, and Accountability.

About the Role

As a Repairs Surveyor, you will diagnose, specify, and manage repairs across Lambeth's homes. You will carry out pre- and post-inspections, identify defects, and ensure repairs are completed to a high standard. A major part of the role is dealing with damp and mould, so you will need strong technical knowledge and confidence in identifying causes and long-term solutions, in line with Awaab's Law. You will work closely with contractors, residents, and colleagues to make sure repairs are done right and residents feel supported.
