About the role
Hammersmith & Fulham Council is transforming the private rented sector through proactive, tenant‑focused regulation. This role is part of a dynamic, high‑performing team that investigates housing conditions, takes enforcement action, and works with landlords and residents to improve outcomes across the borough.
Responsibilities
Investigate complaints of poor housing conditions, unlicensed properties, and conduct property inspections.
Carry out enforcement action as necessary, ensuring high standards of customer care and effective communication.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to support best practice and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A formal qualification in Environmental Health, Building Surveying, Construction, or a similar field.
Experience or interest in housing regulatory work is desirable but entry‑level applicants are welcome.
