The role: In the role as a Housing Support Officer, you will provide a comprehensive range of office, management support and customer service functions within the housing directorate on housing allocations, known as Property Pool Plus. The Support Officer will assess, review and process housing applications and provide appropriate guidance to service users of Property Pool Plus. As the Housing Officer you will provide responses to customer enquiries regarding housing application decisions that have been made in line with the Property Pool Plus housing allocations policy. The role of Housing Support Officer is to provide clear, accurate policy guidance and deliver training to administrative staff, ensuring housing applications are processed consistently in line with the Property Pool Plus housing allocations policy.
