Overall Job Purpose
The postholder will lead, direct and drive the effective delivery of a quality high standard, responsive repairs and maintenance service for Arun District Council's residents.
This role focuses on enhancing service quality, minimising void rent loss, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. The role also has overall responsibility for delivering the Awaab's law compliance and improving outcomes for residents.
The postholder will be responsible for contract procurement, strategic contract management, managing the repairs and maintenance budget and driving and delivering continuous performance improvement.
As a housing professional at Arun District Council, you'll be expected to deliver resident-focused services, maintain your professional competence, promote inclusive behaviours, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
