Hours and Shift Pattern: 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday with some flexibility.

As Housing Manager you will manage the day to day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme. You will ensure properties are safe, well maintained, meet residents' needs and comply with regulations. You will schedule repairs, manage contractor relationships, and focus on high standards and value for money. Customer service skills are a must, ensuring residents feel heard and that concerns are addressed as a priority. You will welcome new residents and encourage engagement with activities and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily housing management services for the Extra Care scheme.
  • Oversee upkeep and maintenance of all properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and high living standards.
  • Schedule repairs, manage contractors, and optimize value.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and support their independence.
  • Facilitate new residents’ induction and support engagement in scheme activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven housing management experience.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations.
  • Experience in managing and scheduling property maintenance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management.
  • Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willingness to progress toward it.
